Growing up my brothers and I didn't have any video game systems but instead played old DOS games (which were GREAT!). I believe my Dad had a friend who worked for a computer company or something. This friend was our personal hook-up for all things DOS. Woo-hoo!
Among Jill of the Jungle and Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Crystal Caves was a big favorite in the Houghton household! It was a great game. I think I need to find an emulator for my computer so I can play this lil' gem again. =D

Your hook up for Crystal Cave, Jill of the Jungle, and, don't forget Duke Nukem, was Al Schmitzer.
BD
Day of the Tentacle and Lemmings were my faves! :)
I recently downloaded a DOS emulator JUST so I could play Day of the Tentacle again. (nerd!)
"Burger Time" and "Oregon Trail" on the APPLE IIe baby!
BD- That's right! What a great guy. =D
Renee, I LOVED Lemmings! Although I've never played Day of the Tentacle... Might have to give that one a try!
Joel- Oh man, you've got the right idea! Oregon Trail was great but seeing how my teachers always encouraged us to play it, kind of turned me off to the game...
woohoo! Spelunker! Nice
Crystal Caves was one of my favorite games ever. Apogee needs to make a comeback.
