My oldest brother is an all-around super talented metalsmith and has recently gotten interested in the Rat Rod culture. After recently talking to him, he convinced me into working up a couple of samples for some rat rod magazines that might be interested in this sort of work.
Not sure if it'll lead anywhere but if it allows for me to draw stuff like this for a job, then I'm a happy guy! ;D

So much wonderful detail in the first piece....from his tattoos, to the cigar, to the crazed look in his eyes. Great colour too! I love it.
So I'm thinking that Lisa left him for another dude (maybe a guy with a less obnoxious car) and that's why he's looking so furious. My guess is that he's speeding over to confront this guy, and he plans on opening up a big 'ol can of whoop ass on him.
Oh, the skull and cigar image would make for a fine anti-smoking campaign poster.
Love it, Chris. Great stuff.
Super cool skull design! Big Daddy Roth would be proud.
Haha, thanks Jason! One thing's for sure, you gave him much more thought than I did and that's what makes you awesome! ;D
Thanks Dave!
Haha, thanks David! Long live the Fink!
Love the design! It's full of fun!!
I like the cigar-in-space concept on the skull. It reminds me of Pascal's use of a cigar with a horse in a playful scene - the cigar is just suspended there, but looks completely natural but adds subtle attitude.

Thanks Alina! ;D
BD- Haha, I know right? I totally ripped him off... sigh. Sorry Pascal! Glad you like it pops!
To call what we do a "job" is almost a sin at times!
Very nice. Very rockabilly and greaser styled! Nice work!
Agreed, Dave! ;)
Thanks Rental, very kind of you!
